The event was held at the new M1 Concourse racetrack, which opened last year. Cars and Coffee is held once a month from June to October and welcomes anyone to bring their exotic, classic, muscle,or drifters to the event. A large banner extoling the features of our GMCs was front-and-center.The idea to approach the M1 representatives cameto me earlier in the year when I read about the trackin Automobile magazine. Attendees were Michael and Karin Schupp of New Hudson with a 1974 Eleganza; Christopher Lee and Amy Feigley-Lee and their two children, Ruby and Nico, of Detroit with a 1978 Eleganza II; David and Dawn Johnson of Detroit with their 1977 Eleganza II; Matt and Mary Colie of Belleville with their 1973 Painted Desert; Tom and Sharon Giannosa of China Twp. with their 1976 Palm Beach; and my husband, Greg, and me with our 1978 Royale.All coaches were open to the public to view and generated much attention and interest. Pamphlets and other informational ephemera were available as take-aways.
