The letters PRF stood for the owners name Peter R. Fink who owned Travco, Sightseer, and Travco Family Wagon. His money came from Great Lakes Steel Corp (his father was CEO) and his wife was the heir to R.P. Shear Co. who discovered the gelatin capsule.Gemini was responsible for upfitting of the GMC Motorhome interiors for 1973 and 1974. The newly manufactured coaches were driven 25 miles from the Pontiac, Michigan, plant to Mount Clemens, providing a “shake down” trip prior to the installation of the interiors. After completion, motorhomes were shipped directly from Gemini to the dealers.Bob & Barbara Swartz | 1973 Painted Desert original owners | Dayton, OhioThis Bittersweet (orange) GMC Motorhome is believed to be the first 1973 GMC Motorhome processed through the Gemini facility.
