Thank You for a Great Day!The GMC Cascaders, GMC Mountainaires, GMC Pacific Cruisers, and GMC Saguaro Jetset combined forces with the leadership of the Western States (Armand Minnie) put on a great “Western GMC Clubs Day” at the Convention.AM | Western Area members assisted in preparing and serving sausage to accompany the freshly made waffles with strawberries and whipping cream provided by GMCMI.NOON | The ladies attended the “Feeling Groovy” luncheon where they enjoyed food, music, games, door prizes, and the camaraderie. A big thank you to Carol Minnie for heading it up and all of the Ladies of the Western GMC Clubs that helped her make it a big success!But the men were not left out! Ken Frey came to the rescue with chili and crackers for lunch.HAPPY HOUR | The Pacific Cruisers hosted a meet and greet for all Convention attendees. It was a big hit as everyone met near the GMC Western States president’s coach (Nick Roenick) and shared lots of fun, appetizers, and the famous margarita bucket.DINNER | Dave de Graffenreid and Manny Trovao did their magic, recruiting several members to cook and serve delicious burgers and dogs on a giant grill. The Western States Club hosted over 225 people who dined on a great meal. For anyone who still had room for dessert, GMCMI supplied ice creamwhich the Western Area club members served.ENTERTAINMENT | The grand finale for the day was a live auction hosted by GMC Western States, led by Bill Kittredge and Dave de Graffenreid. Items were donatedby attendees and placed on a table during breakfast so that everyone could check things out and bid that evening.
