Presenters were fantastic!member three years second conventionWORK RALLY, ANYONE?The GMCMI Convention is not promoted as a “work rally”, but with the nature of a 40-year-old vehicle it sometimes becomes inevitable. During each convention several coaches are worked on, but during the first “Great Summer Get-together” in Branson, it was “the rule”.Here is a sampling of some of the items that Alex Ferrara and his crew worked on... • Replace driver’s side broken lower balljoint (broke in four pieces)• Repaired nail in tire• Repaired dash air conditioning• Replaced two steering relay levers• Replaced adjustable drag link• Fixed overheating mascerator wires• Installed two new roof air conditioners • Checked multiple steering gearalignments and replaced parts as needed (Alex donated steering boots to six first-timers)• Tore upper portion of engine apart and replaced driver side cyclinder head due to a crack in the cyclinder head between #3 and #5.SUMMER 2016GMC MOTORHOMES INTERNATIONAL 5
