35 Years In The Making | GMCMI TIMELINE19821983The BeginningAt the summer FMCA Convention at Notre Dame University, Ralph Luby placed a flyer under the windshield wiper of each GMC Motorhome in attendance. Foster friendship among members.Over 900 MembersAt year end of 1983, GMCMI had 909 members.First 18 Month GrowthLast Joint ConventionThere were 208 GMC Motorhomes in attendance. The GMC convoy arrived at the Kentucky Horse Park in Lexington, Kentucky by police escort.
