GMCMI Co-Pilot QuiltersIn 2000, Jeanne Robinson of Traverse City, Missouri, began the quilting activity asa way for the women to socialize during the Convention. The idea was for each lady to make a piece of the quilt, sign it, and their name would be entered into a raffle for the quilt at a future Convention. Jeanne completed the quilt by joining the pieces and adding edging, etc. The first winner was Sam Johnson. The tradition ofthe GMCMI quilt continued until 2007 when the last quilt was completed. The “Four Seasons” (pictured right) was won by Jane Marin in 2002. It was donated back to GMCMI for the 2017 Fall 35th Anniversary Raffle by Jane.
